We've been waiting for you! It's true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself. It's not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you. So, above all else we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We're eager to know you and were excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.
It won't take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship, we share, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you, as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. If you've been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say again...Welcome!
Our Purpose Is...
- To introduce people to Jesus Christ
- To help them grow in Christ-like maturity
- To equip them for ministry to one another
- To reach out in love to those around us and to the world beyond
- To honor the Name of Jesus Christ as in God's own Son and our Lord and Savior!
The Great Commandment...
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your should and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second it like it. "Love your neighbor as yourself." All the law and prophets hang on to these two commandments.
The Great Commission...
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
We Believe...
- The Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. Salvation is its end, and truth, without error, its matter. It is the sole authority for our faith and practice.
- There is only one thru and living God and He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal being. We believe He is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe and that He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit: the Holy Trinity.
- That mankind is the special creation of God, made in His image, and endowed with freedom of choice. By this free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Only by the grace of God can man enter again into fellowship with God by salvation through Jesus Christ, God's only Son.
- That salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and involves the redemption of the whole person. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
- That baptism is an act of obedience to the Lord and symbolized the believer's faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior.
